Day 24.
You guys are probably all like, “Cassandra, you wear that necklace all the time. Is that the only necklace you have?”
No. I just really like it.
Oh, and I did some kind-of-sort-of-not-really pattern mixing today just to make myself feel better from yesterday’s matchy-matchiness. Too bad I’m still wearing all neutrals and leopard print is pretty much a neutral in and of itself. Whatever. It’s the effort that counts, right?
And a quick rant: I love the days at school when there is some big sporting event going on and the boys on the different teams have to dress up. I love it. There is nothing better than walking around school and seeing all the guys looking so sharply dressed. But there are always those couple of guys who decided that they are too insecure to be walking around in a dress shirt and tie, so they put on a zip up hoodie to cover themselves up.
Guys, I’m here to tell you: Don’t do that. I understand that dressing up may not be your thing, and there’s nothing wrong with being a little insecure, we all are from time to time, but you need to trust me. You look good. Be proud of it.
None of the guys on any of the sports’ teams at my school will ever read this anyway, but incase you do, just listen to me. I’m right about this one.
